Loved the look of the place. Spacious and well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, large bathroom with excellent shower heads. One of the best hotels we had in New Zealand.

Greated with a welcoming reception. Very informative and reasurring on the buildings damage. Comfortable beds, lovely and quite. Would be recommending to others and we will be back without hesitation.

Charming old-style hotel vibe, our studio suite had a lovely garden view. the dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, serving up really tasty dishes. Enjoyed the setup with a separate bedroom and a handy little kitchen area. 🌿

Merivale is close to the city center, park, and shopping. It offers a bed and breakfast type atmosphere, a very friendly and helpful staff/ownership, washer/dryer and closeness to Christchurch's main attractions.

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely well-maintained old manor house during our trip. the location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown and the village. Our host was fabulous, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations for exploring the area. the apartment size rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the cozy and quiet atmosphere despite being close to a busy road.
The necessary flights of stairs in the apartments may be challenging for some guests.
